Hand Painted Portraits

Looking for a portrait painting for yourself or as a special gift? A painted portrait is a timeless piece that often stays families for decades.

What will you receive?

You will receive a single portrait (head and shoulders), painted in oil paint. Your custom portrait will be painted on heavy weight oil paper (size 12 x 16 inches or 31 x 41 cm). The painting is signed and dated on the back and is accompanied with a personal note to the receiver. The portrait does not include the frame.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Send me an email with a picture of the person you want portrayed. If you could tell be a little bit about yourself and the person, that would be pleasant and helpful, but not necessary. Whatever you feel comfortable with. If you're not sure about the photo, I'll be happy to advice. The photo needs to be sharp and preferably high in resolution. Please contact me in case of questions.

Once I start on the portrait, it will take about two weeks to complete.

I ship worldwide. Shipping times differ, e.g.: Europe 1-6 days, United States 4-7 days, Australia 6-8, days, Asia 9-15 days. In order to protect the drawing I always use a solid board envelope to protect the drawing. Outside the Netherlands, I ship with registered mail shipment so you have to sign for acceptance. Just to be sure you'll receive your package safely.

ABOUT ME

After studying economics and working my first job as a marketeer, I started painting in an artist atelier in the Netherlands. From that moment on, my dedication, ambition and love for art never stopped growing. I finished a three years art education and started creating and exhibiting my own work. My work was recognized by winning the "Painting of the year 2015" and has been shown in museums, galleries and other places.
